Doris (Margolis) Rose of Avon, formerly of West Hartford, died Feb. 10.  She was the widow of Abraham Rose. Born in Hartford, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Margolis. She is survived by her children, Sandra Jacobus of Canton; her niece, Andrea Kurtz; her great-nieces, Jodi (Luke McCullough) Kurtz and Allison Kurtz, all of Massachusetts. She was predeceased by her brother Julius Margolis and by her sister Mollye Weintraub Gore.
