Sidney Abraham Kaplan, 102, died Jan. 6. He was the widower of Frances Shapiro Kaplan. He was the son of Isadore and Rachel (Blumenthal) Kaplan.  He is survived by his daughters, Judith Kulick and Deborah (Richard) Polivy; grandchildren, David and Kellie Kulick, Rachel Kulick and Morgan Schwartz, David Polivy and Pam Jahnke, and Rebecca Polivy and her fiancé, Omer Tamuz; four great grandchildren; and his sisters-in-law, Etta Suisman and Elizabeth Kaplan. He was predeceased by his brothers, Myron and Shalom, and his sisters, Estelle Adelberg and Amelia Gross.
