Byron E. Kopel, 66, of Enfield, died Jan. 5.  Born in Portland, Me., he was the son of the late Leah and Carl Kopel. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in Viet Nam. He is survived by his brother Stuart A. Kopel and his wife Sheryl of Newington and sister Nancy E. Kopel and her companion Larry Wiener of Waltham, Mass.; his Aunt Pearl Issokson of Vineyard Haven, Mass., several cousins and friends.
