Morton Rivkin, 83, formerly of Woodbury, died Dec.9 in Jupiter, Fla. He was the husband of Lila (Pollack) Rivkin. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Shelley Rivkin (John) Day of New Bedford, Mass., and Paul (Leona) Rivkin of Utica, N.Y.; his brother, Gerald Rivkin of Delray, Fla., formerly of Waterbury; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was the founder of Shoppersworld Appliances in Waterbury, where he worked until his retirement.
