David I. Katz, 90, of Bloomfield died Dec. 25. He was the husband of Miriam (Kaufman) Katz. Born in Hartford, he was the son of the late Samuel and Eva (Novarr) Katz. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, Dr. Stuart Katz and Jonathan (Dale) Katz; a granddaughter, Rebecca Katz; a sister, Augusta Apter; and a sister-in-law, Arlene Friedman.
