Dog Days in West Hartford

Dog Fun Day Hello-Ween Costume Contest

It was truly a howl at Hebrew Health Care in West Hartford one recent afternoon, when residents and guests dressed up their pets for the home’s annual Dog Fun Day Hello-Ween Costume Contest.

Among those taking part in the fun were Officer Savastra and Officer Rocheleau along with K-9 Reign and K-9 Kora from the West Hartford Police K-9 Unit, and Officer Joe Capodiferro with K-9 Drak of the Farmington Police K-9 Unit. “We have so many pet lovers in the facility. Dog Fun Day is one of the highlighted events of the year.” said Amina Weiland, administrative assistant at Hebrew Health’s Life Enrichment Services.
