Mark H. Blumenthal, 57, of Bristol, died Sept. 27. He was the husband of Laurie (Roy) Blumenthal. Born in Hartford and raised in Hartford and West Hartford, he was the son of Marcia Budkofsky of New Britain and the late Alfred “Apples” Blumenthal. He served in the United States Marine Corps. In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by his children, Alfred “Bubba” Blumenthal and his wife Jessica of Brookfield, Joshua Blumenthal and his wife Alyssa of Bristol, and Ashley Blumenthal and her fiancé Emily Pickett of Smithfield, R.I.; his granddaughter, Ellery; his brothers, Eric Blumenthal of Avon, Steven Blumenthal of New Britain, and Sol Blumenthal of Newington; and several nieces and nephews.
