GROSS

Arthur Gross, 90, of Farmington, formerly of the Bronx, N.Y. and Boca Raton, Fla., died June 7. He was the husband of Florence Kessler Gross. Born in New York City, he was the son the late Aaron and Sarah (Schwimmer) Gross. He served in the U.S. Army in World War II in Normandy and the Battle of the Bulge, earning six Bronze Stars, one of which was pinned on him by General George S. Patton. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, Allan Gross and wife Annette of Indiana, and Carl Gross and his wife Deborah Gross of Farmington; his grandsons, Matthew Gross of Indiana and Matthew Mcleod of Farmington; a nephew and niece. He was also predeceased by his mother- and father-in-law, Leah and Julius Kessler, his brother, Monroe Gross, and his sister-in-law, Edith Gross.
