Letters to the Ledger Opinion

Letter: Schwartz knows his subject

Stephen Suleyman Schwartz had a Jewish father and a Protestant mother. After flirting with left-wing causes, he became a convert to Islam. He leads the Center for Islamic Pluralism, supports Israel, and is a strong opponent of radical Islam. He undoubtedly knows more about Islam than Heidi Hadsell or, for that matter, Arnold Eisen.
